PRIVATE POWWOW DANCE LESSONS
Customized Lessons to Fit Your Needs
Teachers have been dancing for many years and offer accepting, supportive private powwow classes for everyone. Dance teacher have experience in private lessons, and understand diversity. Teachers are hired who are LGBTQ supportive and anti-oppressive.
Learning Powwow dance can be scary, especially as a beginner, or just returning to the culture. Please inquire for private lesson rates. Sponsorship may be available.
COMMUNITY POWWOW CLASS
Beginner to Advanced Powwow Practice
Community Powwow Class is for all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Come get a powwow workout while learning about traditional dances and Indigenous traditions.

Contract and Associate Artists rehearse twice weekly
Company Rehearsal is for dancers in Wild Mint Arts productions such as "Nimihitowin!" and "Powwow Mash-UP" as well as new works in development. Company members must audition and attend a minimum amount of Community Powwow Class and all rehearsals prior to a show or tour.

HOOP DANCE CLASSES
Three sections: 6-9, 10-16, and 17+
Beginner and Intermediate
Hoop Dance Classes are for beginner or Intermediate dancers. Hoop Dance is accessible for all, and classes run on 6 -week schedules. Non-Indigenous participants are welcome as well.
Scholarship available for Indigenous Students.
Attendees have the opportunity to audition for the company.
